In conjunction with a new school year as well a yearlong 125th Anniversary celebration, I collaborated with Seattle Pacific University to refresh the environmental banners located around their Seattle campus. Desiring something that honored the past but was also youthful, I brought together a series of banners honoring the founders of the school – pairing each with hand-lettered words that spoke not only to the qualities the founders had themselves but also to the qualities and ideals SPU still has and endeavors for in the future.
